Superintendent of Police (GRP) R C Bura today told PTI he has asked a Dy SP-level officer to start a probe into the December 21 incident here.
Based on the probe report, disciplinary action will be taken against those found guilty, he said.
According to sources, a man committed suicide on Saturday by jumping in front of a running training. Some on-duty GRP personnel forced the girl, a rag picker, to gather the mutilated body.
