The arrest was made after the girl filed an FIR yesterday accusing three persons of gang-raping her on January 26, Superintendent of Police Y S Ramesh told reporters here.
The girl, a class IX student, was sent for medical examination, he said.
The CPI (ML-Liberation) observed a bandh today in protest against the gang-rape and demanded arrest of the perpetrators.
The police dispersed bandh supporters during protests and arrested party's district president R S Dinko for enforcing the bandh in Panki block, Ramesh said.
