Minor girl killed, 24 others injured in roof collapse incident

An eight-year-old girl was killed and over 20 others were injured when a roof on which they had gathered to see a marriage procession collapsed here, police said today.
The villagers of Jarari under Jehanaganj police station area had gathered on the roof to witness the marriage procession when it collapsed yesterday killing the young girl on the spot.
The 24 injured have been admitted to a local hospital, police added.
