An eight-year-old girl was allegedly molested by her neighbour in the Vivek Vihar area of Shahdara, following which the accused was arrested, the police said today.
The girl was near her shanty when the accused started kissing and touching her inappropriately, they said, adding that incident took place on Monday.
Locals saw the accused and caught hold of him. Later, they informed the police and he was arrested.
