raped in a village in Zarifnagar police station area here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when the girl was abducted by some youths while she was taking food for her father working in the fields, SP (rural) Balendra Bhushan said said.
The girl was later found lying some distance away near the fields, he said.
On the complaint of her father, an FIR has been registered in this connection and the victim sent for medical examination, Bhushan said.
Investigations in the case are on and the number of accused involved would be known only after getting the medical examination report, SP added.
