The bus, which was on its way from Delhi to Billawar, skidded off the road and rolled down into the gorge at Padu Nullah in the district, police said.
Rahul Kumar (7) was killed and 28 others were injured, including the driver of the bus. The injured were admitted to hospital.
The driver of the vehicle, who was seriously injured, was later referred to Government Medical College (GMC) hospital here for treatment, police added.
