Minor raped by father in Raj

A four-and-half-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her father who was in an inebriated condition here, police said today.
According to an FIR lodged by the victim's mother, the minor was raped by 38-year-old accused Javed, who sent his wife to a nearby shop yesterday night.
Upon returning, the mother found her husband, who was in an intoxicated state, allegedly raping the girl, police said.
"The woman lodged an FIR against her husband last night and he is absconding since then," SHO Transport Nagar police station Anil Doriya said today.
"Medical examination of the minor has been conducted and the report is awaited," he said.

"The rape is yet to be confirmed," he said, adding that the accused was being searched.
