Minor smoke at Mandi House station

A minor smoke was reported at DMRC's Mandi House station today following which three fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
The smoke was reported at one of the technical rooms of the station around 9.55 PM, metro and fire authorities said, adding it did not affect the train services.
"As a precautionary measure, three fire tenders were called in, but were not actually used as the smoke was locally put to rest," a Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMCR) official said.
A similar incident had taken place on June 1 at the Barakhamba Road station, which falls between Mandi House and Rajiv Chowk stations.
