The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) today alleged minorities were being 'hunted' under the BJP-led NDA government's rule and stressed the need for "secular democratic" forces to come together.
The rule of NDA government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi should end, IUML President K M Khader Moideen told reporters after the party's National Executive meet here.
"The life of minorities have become miserable under the BJP rule in the country and they are being hunted repeatedly," he charged.
He also claimed that Dalits in the country were the second victim of the BJP rule.
Moideen also alleged that the NDA government had spoilt the country's relation with neighbouring nations like Manynmar, Bengaladesh, Nepal and Maldives.
"The need for secular democratic forces to come together assumes significance in this present situation in the country," he added.

IUML General Secretary P K Kunhalikutty said the party was a partner in the Congress led-UDF in Kerala and UPA at the national level and hence would not go for any electoral alliance that would weaken the lead partner.
On May 12 assembly elections in Karnataka, he said Congress had better chance to retain power.
The Congress would get a better victory if minorities votes were not divided, he added.
Apparently referring to CPI-M's opposition to any tie-up with Congress, Kunhalikutty said it was very sad that the Left parties had failed to identify the enemy when "secular parties were moving forward together.
