Three motorcycle-borne miscreants looted Rs 3 lakh from a man in Bihar's East Champaran district on Tuesday, police said.
The man runs a bank's customer service point (CSP) at Dilawarpur village, the police said.
The incident occurred near Dilawarpur High School under the jurisdiction of Kesariya police station when the man was on his way to the CSP at the village, the officer-in-charge of Kesariya police station, Kanchan Bhaskar, said.
Three bike-borne miscreants stopped the man's motorbike and snatched a bag containing Rs 3 lakh from him, Bhaskar said, adding, Kumar was on his way to the village after withdrawing money from an ATM at Sahebganj in Muzaffarpur district.
They also took his laptop and mobile phone, the police officer said.
An investigation has been initiated, he said.
