"Had the pleasure of having a conversation with President Barack Obama in the Oval Office today!" Davuluri twitted shortly after meeting Obama.
"Miss America participated in a group photo with the President in honour of the Children's Miracle Network Hospital Champions," a White House official said.
"Following the photo, she briefly visited the Oval Office," the official said.
Incidentally, Obama had referred to Miss America during his meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh last month.
Davuluri became the first Indian-American ever to be crowned as Miss America in September.
"I'm so proud to be the first Miss America of Indian descent," she said after winning the pageant.
