Missing excise officer's car found in Bhakhra canal

The car of an excise officer of Patiala, who is reportedly missing, was today found in Bhakra canal near Adampur village here.
Although there was no trace of the officer, a suicide note was recovered from the car after it was pulled out of the canal, police said.
In the suicide note, Kalia has purportedly blamed his wife, father-in-law and brother-in-law for compelling him to commit suicide.
According to police, Kalia, who got married about four years ago and had a son, was not in a good terms with his wife.
Fatehgarh Sahib Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Hardevinder Singh Sandhu, said that police is thoroughly probing the case.
