People who spotted Ajay in the temple informed his family who came and took him home in Jaipur, the sources said today quoting the student's father.
Ajay had reached Rajasthan on his own but details of how he arrived at the temple and the reason behind his leaving the institute without informing the authorities were yet to be known.
The student who was a boarder in one of the IIT-G hostels was last seen by his classmates on April 12 and since then they had tried to call him on his cell phone but found it switched off.
