Missing student found dead near railway track

A 21-year-old-student, who was reported missing for the last two days, was found dead in an abandoned building near a railway track in the city today.
Arnold, a resident of Tirupur, was doing his 3rd year IT in a private college in Sulur on the outskirts, and had left home on August 17 to meet his friend here, police said.
The parents got anxious as he did not return in the evening and with no response from his mobile phone, lodged a complaint,police said.
They came to know from some friends that Arnold had gone to Coimbatore to meet his girl friend in R S Puram.

Meanwhile, a body was found lying near an abandoned house, and Arnold's father identified it to be that of his son, police said.
