Police recovered the body of one Dinesh (40), a teacher in Inter college from a pond in Kiwana village yesterday.
Police said the teacher was missing since February 27 and a case of abduction had been registered in that connection.
But now a case of murder has been registered, police said, adding, body has been sent for post-mortem and investigations are on.
