Congress candidate from Vadodara, Madhusudan Mistry, today alleged that authorities had shown a bias against him by allocating all the advertisement kiosks on the city roads to BJP.
Mistry, a Congress general secretary, threatened to paste his posters over Narendra Modi's posters tomorrow, if the Vadodara District Electoral Officer and Deputy Municipal Commissioner failed to remove the posters of BJP's prime ministerial candidate by 10 AM.
Talking to reporters here, Mistry alleged, "Both DEO and the Vadodara Municipal Corporation have acted in partisan manner in allowing display of posters of Modi on advertisement kiosks set up by VMC on roadside.
"I and president of the city unit of Congress party Narendra Rawat had written to DEO and VMC on April 1, requesting them to allot equal number of kiosks to Congress," he alleged.
He also said it will be the responsibility of the DEO and VMC to maintain law and order if situation gets out of hand tomorrow after Congress party workers put up his posters on same kiosks, covering the BJP posters.
