"Land is no longer a problem. The West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation has 3,236 acres of land within its 23 industrial parks located across the state," Mitra said at the 'Business@Bengal' roadshow organised for overseas companies here.
He said the state government would be keen to facilitate availability of land in these parks in a most transparent and efficient manner.
For large projects, he urged the investors to look at places like Raghunathpur in Purulia, Panagarh in Burdwan, Kharagpur and Goaltore in West Midnapore.
He said the state had the most attractive industrial and incentive policies, besides separate policies for MSME, textiles and IT hardware.
