Prices of moong dal and gram dal increased while that of maida decreased in the wholesale foodgrains market here during the week.

Opening the week at Rs 11,000, moong dal was up by Rs 200 per quintal from its closing rate of Rs 10,800 and closed the week at its opening rate.

Gram dal increased Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 6,400 from its previous rate of Rs 6,200 and ended the week at the opening rate.

However, Maida (90 kg) was down by Rs 100 to Rs 2,400 from Rs 2,500 and closed the week at the rate.

Toor dal (Rs 10,800), urad dal (Rs 10,900), sugar (Rs 2,750), wheat (Rs 3,000) and sooji (90 kg) (Rs 3,000) ruled steady throughout the week.
