Mixed trend in market

Prices of thoor dal, urad dal and moong dal moved up while those of gram dal, sugar, and wheat moved down during the week ending in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Thoor dal opened the week at Rs 7,200 per quintal, an increase of Rs 200 from its previous closing rate of Rs 7,000 and maintained the same trend till today.
Likewise, moong dal opened the week at Rs 7,200 and settled today with gain of Rs 300 per quintal from its previous closing rate of Rs 6,900.
Moong dal rose by Rs 400 per quintal to Rs 9,000 since Monday to today from its previous rate of Rs 8,600.
In contrast,gram dal and wheat opened the week at Rs 3,800 and Rs 2,500 per quintal, a decline of Rs 100 from its previous rate and ended today at the same rate. Sugar edged down by Rs 20 per quintal to Rs 2,880 from Rs 2,900.
Maida and Sooji ruled steady throughout the week.
