Castor oil in the non-edible section, also declined on reduced offtake by consuming industries.
Traders said sufficient stocks position on increased arrivals from producing belts mainly weighed on select edible oil prices but scattered demand from retailers helped other to trade higher.
In the national capital, mustard expeller (Dadri) and cottonseed mill delivery (Haryana) oils fell by Rs 100 and each Rs 50 to Rs 7,850 and Rs 6,300 per quintal respectively.
In the non-edible section, castor oil traded lower by Rs 100 to Rs 8,700-8,800 per quintal.
