Mizoram anti-narcotic squad seize heroin worth Rs 1.9 lakh

Mizoram Excise and Narcotics department's Anti-Narcotic Squad today seized 42 grams of heroin in Mizoram-Myanmar border Champhai town, department spokesperson Peter Zohmingthanga said.
The seized contraband, worth around Rs 1.9 lakh in the local market was reportedly smuggled from Myanmar.
Lalhmunmawii (52) of Khawmawi village in Myanmar was arrested in this connection and she was booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
