Mizoram assembly passes supplementary demand for 2016-17

Mizoram Assembly today unanimously passed the supplementary demand for grants for 2016-17 amounting to Rs 1,645.38 crore.
General discussion of the Budget commenced from today and would be concluded tomorrow.
Lalsawta had presented the state annual budget for the next fiscal amounting to Rs 8,803.10 crore on Thursday along with the Supplementary Demand.
Demand-wise discussion on the budget would commence on Wednesday and would be passed on March 29.
