Addressing the National Seminar on 21st Century Challenges in Teacher Education organised by the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education here, General Sharma said that Mizoram being the third highest in literacy was inadequate to face the emerging challenges.
"One of the biggest challenges we face today is creating qualified human resource to meet the needs of today's dynamic world," he said, adding that a change in the way of teaching was a must to meet the challenges.
The seminar was attended by eminent scholars including Prof. S. B. Menon, Vice Chancellor Ambedkar University New Delhi.
