MLA on hunger strike protesting negligence of constituency

Mayiladuthurai MLA A R Arulselvan, who was arrest today for conducting a hunger strike without police permission and later released, continued his fast before the municipal office in the night.
The DMDK MLA was protesting against the alleged negligence by the Government to the constituency, including construction of new bus stand, enhancing facilities at the government hospital and construction of outer ring road project, police said.
Earlier in the day he was arrested and later released, but contninued the hunger strike.
