MLAs of other parties are in touch with me: Khadse
Press Trust of India Mumbai Maharashtra Revenue Minister and senior BJP leader Eknath Khadse today said the state government was ready to face a trust motion anytime, and several MLAs of other parties were ready to resign and contest again on BJP ticket.
Speaking to the media here, he was responding to a question about Congress's demand that the BJP government face a fresh trust vote.
The trust motion passed by the Assembly earlier this month in favour of Devendra Fadnavis government was marred by controversy as no division of votes took place.
"We are not worried over trial of strength in the House. In fact, several legislators of other parties including Congress are in touch with me.
"They are even ready to quit their Assembly seats and contest polls again (on BJP ticket) to ensure that the government remained stable," Khadse said.
