MNC employee murdered in suspected case of honour killing

In a suspected case of honour killing, a 23-year-old engineer of a private company was allegedly murdered by the family of the girl he was engaged in Kutail village of the district.
The body of Ravinder was found from a canal here almost 19 days after he went missing under mysterious circumstances.
Police said here today that the family members of a girl from Kutail village in this district have been booked for the murder of the youth, a resident of same village.
The girl's father and uncle were arrested earlier, while her brother was arrested today, police said.
The victim was in a relationship with a girl of a different community from the same village, police said.

Ravinder's father told police that Ravinder went out of the house on December 13 night and never returned.

The body was recovered from the canal last night.
The victim, an engineer, was to join his first job with an MNC in Gurgaon on December 15.
Police has been deployed in the village.
