"(Noted historian) Babasaheb Purandare has agreed to provide the requisite material pertaining to the Shivaji era for the making of the museum. We are in the planning stage of making the museum," Thackeray told reporters here.
The MNS chief, however, did not reveal the place for setting up of the museum.
On other issues, he said, the first phase of Goda Park Riverfront Development project in Nashik, will be inaugurated next month and it will be around 1.5 kms.
The leaders said various works in the Nashik district have been undertaken under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) schemes, which also include a botanical garden.

He said works and projects under CSR assures good quality of the work.
On the crucial forthcoming BMC elections next year, he said as of now nothing has been decided and it is a long way to go.
He also said if elected to power, he would develop Thane city on the lines of Nashik where his party runs the civic body.
