Mock counter-terrorism drill at Hyderabad airport

Personnel from various agencies today carried out a mock counter-terrorism drill at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad here this morning.
Security and operations teams of GMR Hyderabad International Airport (GHIAL), RGIA police, CISF, State Fire Services and Disaster Management and other agencies took part in the drill, with the objective of testing the airport's preparedness for emergencies.
Observers from Intelligence Bureau, CISF, police and various airlines monitored the exercise. The overall security measures at RGIA were found to be satisfactory and adequate, the airport authorities said in a release.
