Moderate rain, thundershowers in UP

Light to moderate rainfall and thundershowers occurred at a few places over the eastern Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places over western districts, MeT department officials said today.
They said heavy rain occurred at isolated places over eastern Uttar Pradesh.
Haidergarh received 10 cm of rainfall, Balrampur 5 cm. While Regoli and Nawabganj received 4 cm each, Pharenda and Barabanki 3 cm each, and Lucknow, Fatehpur, Handia and Rath 2 cm each.
The MeT department predicted that rain and thundershowers are likely at a few places over eastern Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the western parts of the state.
