Moderate rainfall lashes Himachal Pradesh

Moderate to normal rainfall has occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh with Met department today predicting more rains in the state.
Kangra district was the wettest place in the state as it recorded 166 mm rainfall, followed by Palampur which received 155 mm and Dharamshala 123 mm rains.
While Jogindernagar recorded 116 mm rains, Shimla received 65 mm, Guler 61 mm, Sangraha 55 mm, Baijnath 54 mm, Renuka 50 mm, Kheri 40 mm, Nagrota Suriyan 39 mm and Naina Devi 36 mm rainfall.
The Met department has predicted rains or thundershowers at many places in the state till August 2.
The lowest temperature was recorded at Mashobra at 13.1 degree celsius and highest temperature atUna and Bhuntar at 35.2 degree celsius.
