Una which received 25.8 mm of rains was the hottest region in the state with the maximum temperature recorded at 39.0 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 41.6 degrees while Shimla recorded a maximum of 28.6 degrees C.
Palampur received 16 mm of rains followed by Dharamsala 14.6 mm, Renuka and Kahu 13 mm each, Solan 10 mm, Bhangana 9 mm, Kasol 8 mm, Jandutta 7 mm, Sunni-Bhajji and Rajgarh 6 mm, Jhungi, Bhoranj and Dharampur 5 mm each.
Nahan recorded a high of 36 degrees, followed by Sundernagar 35.4 degrees, Solan 34 degrees, Dharamsala 33.8 degrees, Bhuntar 33 degrees and Kalpa 23.6 degrees.
Mandi was the hottest at night with the minimum recorded at 26.1 degrees while Nahan and Dharamsala recorded a low of 23.7 degrees and 23.4 degrees respectively, followed by Una 22.7 degrees, Sundernagar 21.4 degrees and Bhuntar 19 degrees.
Shimla recorded a low of 15.5 degrees while Solan and Manali recorded minimum temperatures of 15 degrees C and 14.4 deg C respectively.
The local MeT office has predicted widespread rains across the state during next 48 hours.
