Moderate to dense fog engulfed different parts of Uttar Pradesh on Monday and the weather remained dry across the state.
According to the meteorological department, cold conditions prevailed during the day in separate places.
Dense fog occurred at a few places over eastern UP and moderate fog occurred at isolated places over western parts of the state, the Met department said.
Predicting the weather for Tuesday, it said cold conditions during the day along with rain and thundershowers are very likely at different places in the state.
Dense fog is very likely at a few places, and very dense fog is very likely at isolated places on Tuesday.
On December 25 and December 26, the weather is most likely to remain dry, and shallow to moderate fog is very likely at a few places across the state.
