The state received average rainfall of 176.3 mm against normal rainfall of 204.9 mm and Solan district had 54 per cent excess rains while Mani and Una districts received 19 per cent excess rains.
However, the monsoon remained deficit in the state from June 1 to July 13.
Chamba was wettest in the region with 51 mm rains while Dharamsala received 50 mm rains, followed by Bhoranj 43 mm, Hamirpur 35 mm, Berthin 24 mm, Chelsea 25 mm, Arki 20 mm and Jogindernagar 19 mm.
There was no significant change in minimum temperatures and Kalpa was coldest in the region with a low of 15.2 degrees while Shimla and Dharamsala recorded minimum temperature at 16.6 degrees, followed by Manali 17.2 degrees, Keylong 17.4 degrees, Palampur 19.0 degrees, Solan 21.4 degrees, Bhuntar 22.2 degrees, Nahan 22.4 degrees, Sundernagar 22.7 degrees and Una 27.4 degrees Celsius.
The MeT Department hasforecast rains and thundershowers at isolated places in lower, mid and higher hills over next six days from tomorrow.
