Banished from the political turf in Bihar reportedly at the behest of the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Narendra Modi will address BJP's 'Hunkar' rally in Patna on October 27.

"Modi has accepted an invitation to attend the 'Hunkar' rally," state unit BJP chief Mangal Pandey today said in a statement issued from Panjim in Goa, venue of BJP's national executive.

Pandey also hailed Modi's appointment as the BJP election campaign committee chairman and said that the decision would enthuse party workers and enable them to work hard to oust the Congress-led UPA government from power in the next General elections.

In any case, Modi's elevation as chief of BJP election campaign committee was anticipated by the party workers, he said.
