Sakshi is known for her portrayal of Parvati Agarwal in 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii' and as Priya in her on-going TV show 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hai'.
"I am an actor.. I would like to portray as many characters as I can. It should be different, stimulating, culminating. The medium doesn't matter for us to make a difference. Any creative person needs medium to reach out to his or her viewers or fans. Now that medium could be theatre, TV and films," Sakshi told PTI.
This is not for the first time that Sakshi would be seen in a film. She has done cameo appearances in movies like Ekta Kapoor's home production 'C Kkompany', Pritish Nandy's 'Saluun' and others.
"I have done couple of films earlier... They were cameo appearances. But this would certainly make a difference in terms of importance of the role," she said.
