"We have had an extensive meeting with chief coach Karim Bencherifa and the decision was taken after evaluating his past football records of Harrison," Mohun Bagan managing director Anjan Mitra said here today.
"His experience of playing in South East Asia, extensive trails,including assessing him as a player and also as a human being, (bonding with the rest of the Team) from August 22 and comprehensive medical tests (including his health and fitness level), were all taken into consideration," Mitra added.
Muranda will partner ace Nigerian forward Odafa Okolie and this season's recruit Katsumi Yusa of Japan, while the other foreigner being Nigerian defender Anyichie Echezona.
