With the momentum having "clearly swung" in favour of the NDA, the BJP-led coalition will emerge triumphant with a substantial number of seats in the Bihar Assembly polls, Union minister Kalraj Mishra today claimed.
Exuding confidence that the NDA will romp to power in Bihar, Union Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) minister said that the BJP-led coalition could end up winning upto 160 seats.
"The momentum is clearly with the NDA going by the favourable mood of the people in rural areas...Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also campaigned hard to swing the votes in favour of the BJP-led coalition," he told reporters.
Mishra, who has extensively campaigned for the NDA candidates in Begusarai district, said that he has met large number of people in rural areas, particularly youths, who expressed their "unflinching trust" in the Prime Minister's leadership and committed to vote for the BJP-led coalition at the hustings to bring development in Bihar.
The 74-year-old BJP leader from Uttar Pradesh has served as the party's Bihar in-charge in the past.
