The summit would have cricketer and former captain M S Dhoni as its brand ambassador and would be attended by a galaxy of central ministers.
"This is first such initiative since the creation of Jharkhand and it is being conceptualized and executed. About 4,500 investors are expected to come for Momentum Jharkhand," Jharkhand Industry Secretary Sunil Kumar Burnwal told a press conference here today.
The objective of the global investors' summit to be held on February 16 and 17 is to attract investors, Burnwal said, adding earlier it was (the other way round) based on investors coming to the state on the strength of mineral resources, but now efforts were being made in a big way for the first time to attract them, Burnwal said.
"We made 15 new policies...We have natural and human resources," Burnwal said and added the government will involve all stakeholders for the event.
Jaitley would inaugurate the function and Union Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitaraman would visit for the valedictory function, Burnwal said.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Urban Development and Housing Minister M Venkaiah Naidu, Power & Coal Minister Piyush Goyal, Textile Minister Smriti Irani, Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare S S Ahluwalia and Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha were among other participants at the global summit.
