Soren, who was accompanied by his father and JMM Supremo Sibu Soren, arrived in the steel city here to take part in 'Jan Akrosh Rally' of Kolhan region, organised by party's East Singhbhum district committee on the birth anniversary of tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda and Jharkhand statehood Day, described the move as "political stunt".
The move to demonetise currency note is fine but the poor people were suffering for the wrong-doing of some people, he told newsmen here.
Now, the government was sucking the blood of poor farmers, labourer and women by forcing them to stand in queue to withdraw money, he said.
Referring to the government's proposal to amend decades-old Chhotanagpur and Santal Paragana Tenancy Act (CNT and SPT), Soren alleged that the chief minister was misguiding the masses on the issue.
