Money lender shot dead in Ghaziabad, three arrested

A money lender was shot dead in Mohalla Mahajanan area of Muradnagar town after a dispute over repayment of debt, police said today.
Muradnagar, SHO, Ummed Singh Yadav, said Ajay alias Teekam (30), used to lend money to traders and shopkeepers.
He was having a dispute with a trader, living in the same locality over repayment of money. Last night around 9:30 pm Teekam went to his house and asked him to repay the money.
The trader and his son engaged in a heated argument with Teekam, which later turned into a scuffle. Teekam tried to escape but was shot at from behind.

Critically injured Teekam was rushed to a nearby hospital. He was further referred to a Ghaziabad hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. His body has been sent for post mortem.
An FIR under section 302 IPC was registered against Parshuram, Anant and Agam. All of them have been arrested, the SHO added.
