Monorail services on Wadala-Chembur to be extended till 10 PM

Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has decided to extend the services of monorail on Wadala-Chembur stretch by two hours till 10 PM from tomorrow.
"Mumbai monorail services will run up to 10 PM from the present 8 PM from Friday, August 15-- India's Independence Day," MMRDA said in a release here today.
The monorail will continue to begin its operations from 6 AM as before and the frequency of train services will be 15 minutes, it said.
"The commuters will also now be required to pay a deposit of Rs 50 instead of Rs 100 for all new purchases of smart cards. The recharge value remains the same minimum at Rs 50 and maximum at Rs 1,000," MMRDA said.
