The 12-day long Monsoon Session of Madhya Pradesh Assembly will commence from July 8, a senior official said here today.
"A total of 10 sittings of the House will take place during the 12-day long session which will end on July 19," assembly's Principal Secretary, Rajkumar Pandey said.
The notification in this regard has been issued.
This will be the 17th session of the 13th Assembly and since the polls are due in November this year, this will be the last session of the House.
Leader of Opposition in the assembly, Ajay Singh said that his party would table its second no-confidence motion against the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government over the issue of corruption.
Earlier, the Congress had tabled its first no-confidence motion on November 21, 2011, during which the opposition had levelled a number of allegations not only against the government, but also against the chief minister.
However, the motion had been defeated on the strength of the ruling BJP in the state assembly.
