Agriculture experts have advised them to choose late varieties of the crop as the sowing of nursery has been delayed by 20 days due to deficient rain.

If the monsoon remains active for the next few weeks, it will compensate the deficient rain in June and there would be no loss to Kharif crops, the experts said.
