Moong, its dal weaken on adequate supply

Moong and its dal prices weakened by Rs 100 per quintal today, in an otherwise steady wholesale pulses market on adequate stocks, following increased supplies from producing centres.
Besides, subdued demand also put pressure on pulses prices.
Marketmen said weak demand from retailers against adequate supplies from producing regions mainly kept pressure on moong and its dal prices.
In the national capital, moong and its dal chilka local declined by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,000-7,300 and Rs 7,100-7,600 per quintal respectively. Moong dal dhoya local and best quality also traded lower by the same margin to Rs 7,000-7,300 and Rs 7,800-7,900 per quintal respectively.
Following are today's pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 5,200-5,700, Urad Chilka (local) 6,400-6,600, best 6,650-7,250, Dhoya 6,900-7,300, Moong 6,000-7,300, Dal Moong Chilka local 7,100-7,600, Moong Dhoya local 7,000-7,300 and best quality 7,800-7,900.
Masoor small 5,250-5,450, bold 5,250-5,550, Dal Masoor local 6,000-6,100, best quality 6,100-6,200, Malka local 5,700-6,000, best 5,900-6,000, Moth 4,650-5,050, Arhar 4,600-4,700, Dal Arhar Dara 6,150-6,350.
Gram 2,850-3,550, Gram Dal (local) 3,600-3,800, best quality 3,700-3,800, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,430, Rajdhani 1,430, Rajmah Chitra 6,400-9,400,Kabli Gram small 3,800-6,400, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 4,200-5,800, Peas white 2,950-3,000 and green 3,000-3,100.
