Moong, Rajmah chitra decline on weak demand

Moong and rajmah chitra prices fell sharply by Rs 200 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today with stockists selling against weak demand.
However, gram showed some strength on increased demand from retailers.
Marketmen attributed falling moong and rajmah chitra prices to increased selling by stockists against a sluggish demand.
In Delhi, moong, dal moong chilka local and moong dhoya local fell by Rs 200 each at Rs 5,800-7,100, Rs 6,900-7,400 and Rs 6,800-7,100 per quintal, respectively.
In line with general trend rajmah chitra also traded Rs 200 lower at Rs 6,200-9,200 per quintal.
However, gram and gramdal recovered on fresh demand from retailers and prices rose by Rs 30 each to Rs 2,830-3,530 and Rs 3,580-3,780 per quintal, respectively.
