"Infopark, so far, has successfully achieved all the key targets both in terms of employment and IT space," state IT & industries minister P K Kunhalikutty said during an investors meet organised by Infopark here today.
Expressing satisfaction over the progress of the ambitious Rs 2500-crore project, the minister said the state government along with the local bodies will actively support Infopark and the development of related infrastructure facilities.
The companies that struck deal with the park are UST Global, Trans Asia, Claysys Technologies, Syscon group, Brigade Enterprises and Media Systems, in Phase II. Ferston Infratel Pvt Ltd and Abad Builders, jointly proposed to develop IT infrastructure.
"We have already initiated necessary steps to ensure solid growth in financial year 2014-15. Our target is to double the built-up area to 6 million square feet in by 2015," Infopark CEO Hrishikesh Nair said during the meet.

"Also, Infopark is expecting the export revenue to cross Rs 2,000 crore during this financial year," he added.
The park expects to generate over 10,000 additional jobs during financial year 2014-15.
The Phase II will have all the amenities of an ultra-modern IT park with common internal roads, 220 KV Gas Insulated Sub Station, storm water drains, cable trenches, data connectivity as well as water treatment and supply.
