Mortuaries of Haryana hospitals to be renovated soon: Vij

Mortuaries of various civil hospitals in Haryana will be renovated soon, state Health Minister Anil Vij said here today.
Vij, while talking to mediapersons, said the mortuaries of some of the old hospitals in the state were not in proper condition and required immediate renovation.
The minister said he had received some complaints that freezers were not working properly in few mortuaries.
Vij said he has directed all the civil surgeons to ensure that freezers of mortuaries of their hospitals were working properly since the summer season was at peak.
He said modern mortuaries will be made in all the newly- constructed hospitals, including Ambala Cantonment.

Replying to a question, he said an order had been issued to all doctors and paramedical staff, including nurses, to wear their name plate on their apron when on duty.
