MoS PMO conferred award

Union Minister Jitendra Singh, who is also a renowned diabetologist, has been conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award by the governing council of Diabetes in Pregnancy Study Group India.
The award was conferred on Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office, at a ceremony held in New Delhi during the 11th national conference of DIPSI.
President, International Diabetes Federation (IDF), Dr S M Sadikot, world renowned Diabetologist and WHO Convener Dr V Seshiah, President, Research Society for Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI) Dr S V Madhu and President DIPSI Dr Anil Kapur were among those present on the occasion, an official statment said.
