Most parts of Delhi lashed by rains, temperature drops

Heavy rains and thunderstorms lashed most parts of the national capital today leading to a drop in temperature.
The city received 28.5 mm rains between 8.30 AM and 5.30 PM, according to Meteorological department.
Report of waterlogging was received from CGO Complex Cut in south Delhi.
While some parts of the city witnessed light showers, some areas especially east and central Delhi got heavy downpour.
The maximum temperature was recorded two notches below the normal level at 31.2 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at around 22.7 deg C.
The humidity level oscillated between 87 per cent and 70 per cent.
The Met has predicted a partly cloudy sky with light rains and thundershowers in some parts of the city.
