Moth moves up on scattered demand

Moth prices moved up by Rs 100 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale pulses market today on scattered demand.
However, other pulses moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said some demand from retailers helped moth prices to trade higher.
In the national capital, moth went up by Rs 100 to Rs 4,900-5,200 per quintal.
Following were today's pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 4,500-4,900, Urad Chilka (local) 5,650-5,850, best 5,900-6,500, Dhoya 6,150-6,550, Moong 6,300-7,600, Dal Moong Chilka local 7,400-7,900, Moong Dhoya local 7,300-7,600 and best quality 8,100-8,200.
Masoor small 4,900-5,150, bold 5,100-5,200, Dal Masoor local 5,750-5,850, best quality 5,850-5,950, Malka local 5,400-5,700, best 5,600-5,700, Moth 4,900-5,200, Arhar 4,350-4,450, Dal Arhar Dara 5,900-6,100.
Gram 3,250-3,850, Gram Dal (local) 4,050-4,250, best quality 4,150-4,250, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,470, Rajdhani 1,470, Rajmah Chitra 7,200-10,700, Kabli Gram small 4,200-7,000, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 4,200-5,800, Peas white 3,000-3,050 and green 3,050-3,150.
